''Wake up it's time to leave dreamland!'' Super Mario clock, Watermelon Pips

I'm working on a Mario concept at the moment. Its inspired by an alarm clock Dan Ash has had since he was five or so. For some reason Mario is some cocky New Yorker with blond hair. He's also standing next to a mushroom I've never seen before in any of the games and god know what that cube is about.

Sorry about the dodgy camera work I was trying contain my laughter. I can't believe how terribly wrong the designers got it, the tune ins't even the same.
